As a freshman, Godzak has pitched 50+ innings already and is 6-2 with a 2.70 ERA. He has struck out 44, walked 18, while opponents have hit a mere .198 against him. Alex has only surrendered 4 extra base hits on the season, leading Canisius to a 26-10 record!

Attention Syracuse, NY! Syracuse Baseball Prep will be holding its first ever Winter Break Baseball Clinic for Little League Baseball Players in Syracuse, NY.
Where:
CNY Family Sports Centre, 7201 Jones Road, Syracuse, NY
When:December 26-28
The clinic will take place from 9:00am-12:00pm.
Who: Boys and girls ages 5-12!!
How Much: $110 per child.
This includes the 3 day clinic at 3 hours per day and a Syracuse Baseball Prep T-shirt!
What is it?
The Syracuse Baseball Prep Winter Break Clinic will offer individualized instruction to all levels of the game! We will employ only the BEST local coaches and teachers as well as local high school and college baseball players to help instruct your child. This camp will instruct the fundamentals of throwing, hitting, fielding, pitching mechanics and base running.
Whether your child is an elite athlete, or just starting out, the Syracuse Baseball Prep Little League Clinic is designed to provide all ages and skill levels with the advanced fundamentals needed to succeed in the game of baseball.

Occupy Sandy
Thanks to everyone who donated to the victims on Staten Island. We were able to go down this weekend and donate through https://statenisland.recovers.org/ – Our donations were dropped off and distributed by the Unitarian Church of Staten Island. We can’t say thank you enough to those who helped us out. This is my old college roommate and former pro ballplayer in the Phillies organization Andy Wells. He lives on Staten Island and helped us coordinate our relief efforts.
We also were able to help out the amazing citizens of The Rockaways. They are another area who were originally looked over by FEMA and the Red Cross. There is not one person who wasn’t (in some way) effected by Hurricane Sandy on this peninsula. The images are devastating and we can’t get them out of our heads. I wish we could still be down there. please check out http://www.rockawayhelp.com to see how people are helping this devastated area.
We are not finished yet! As we speak, we are organizing a fundraising event that will help us go down again around Thanksgiving. We have troops on the ground and local contacts who are able to tell us where to go, and specifically what is still needed. This is a monumental task and every little bit helps. Please stay posted for the fundraising info soon to come.
